We have now left GoDaddy in favor of SiteGround. Already noticing significantly better speeds.
I’ve spent a bit of time fiddling with the caching and compression system of the site and server, and after an hour of fiddling the site now feels a lot faster after initial load. Comic pages still take time to download, so I may need to reduce the file size of them, I guess 2MB PNG files aren’t really all that practical for website stuff..
On the subject of comic pages, may have new update this weekend. Not making any promises though, but I’m feeling way better.
Due to the number of attempted (and of course failed) login attempts under my user name, I’ve had to lower the tolerance for login attempts. If you find yourself in need of an unblock, you have ways to contact me.
Someone seems to have submitted my comic to Belfrycomics.net – That’s pretty cool 🙂 What’s even cooler is that I appear to be the fourth most read comic on there right now. So let me take a moment to say thanks for all the love, guys, y’all’s awesome 😀 I might have to put the site together fully, so y’all get a better playground to hang out on.
