Hmm. They have to move some-time. Maybe the best plan would be to back off, then hit them when they start moving? Hostage situations are always complicated.
Methinks Miss Morgan is out for more than taking out the slavers, it’s for vengeance plain and simple. Safe bet that Morgan knew who the band of slavers were long before Miss was informed that there were slavers in the area.
And it’s also possible from what we seen his men are most likely dead however from what we gather there’s really no laws so what does that mean.
Well it means your actions is what your based on a blood for blood tooth for tooth world is pretty much what it is. Perhaps in next life those guys would think twice on there next occupation.
Hmmm I wonder.
if your reincarnated as they call it into that world are you the same species as past life’s or same gender?
I also wonder if reincarnated do your old memories follow you into new life or do they stay withLars?
If reincarnated does that mean you go through growing up again like a infant to teen to puberty to adult etc.?
Cilitro has laws against slavery, and slavers are usually given the death penalty. But it’s hard to track and catch them when they’re just passing through. So Lamb’s pretty much upholding the law by doing this, even if it’s to some extent a vigilante version of it.
– Reincarnation is not really the correct term, it’s more like memory tagging. The individual mind has no bearing on any part of the world or what they become, they simply go into hibernation, the corresponding new life lives itself out, and the memories of that go back to the host mind.
– Lars is just a historical archive, with some minor side functions that he’s developed over time. Memories from each life lived gets incorporated with the host mind, and do not transfer to the next life lived.
– The new life lived is from birth to death, each time with no recollection of previous runs.
I see so only time you would remember is if you were in Lars world other then that. You forget everything but born as same species and gender.
Wait that means puberty and adult hood again.
People don’t live in LARS. He is incapable of hosting or simulating people. Fen managed to communicate with Piris when there was a duration of time in which the Aqanin orb (which contains the PATH, where all the minds are stored) and LARS had direct line-of-sight with each other.
Right I know there not stored there I was wondering what happens to people like if murdered or cut short of life. Since you use piris as example we will use him what happens for him like cant go back to old job or whatever How else would you be able talk to them. Other then that mo.ent.
My friend and I sorta lookd at it from another view.
it’s like playing a new character connected to 1 account with other characters will not remember previous decisions and stories of other characters and how they died, although he can hear about them
although also an example with a “Doctor who” would fit.
every time he died he was reborn as a new character with new habits and interests only we didn’t remember the history of past incarnations.
it’s more complicated
I said this
Ok I get what you mean above so you would be a different species and gender
What if you had siblings.
You mean to me to have your life back you start from nothing.
From what I gather (and I’m not Feretta, nor am I Dreadwolf, so I cannot ultimately speak authoritatively about this), when a new instance of Piris is created, they do not have any memories from their past lives. Their body is probably more or less the same (same species/gender/genetics, maybe? Unsure), but their upbringing will be different. So if they have a genetic predisposition to being violent, they will likely be violent in all their incarnations, but there’s also the chance that they have a good, balanced upbringing and some of their incarnations learn not to be violent.
When they die — and I don’t think it matters how they die — their memories are automatically relayed back to the PATH so that the virtual mind is updated with all of the memories from the version of them that just died. So the virtual copies of themselves are the only ones with all memories from all versions of themselves, at least right now.
Hey Feretta! Do you think Fen will ever go back to her village and see Mom and Barens graves? I think about that flashback scene a lot! I’ve been around since chapter 2, and I’m so in love with this series so much!
A Tale of Tails has been such a major inspiration for me, from how you’ve done the geography, the characters, the people and how they behave, even the structures! While I am not an artist, for the sake of my own worlds creation, you have helped me so much, and it will crush me when this comic ends, and I can’t wait! I love you and your work Feretta, I’m so proud of the improvement you’ve made over the last few years since CH1P1, keep it up!
What do you mean by one point entry when Fen can fuse with solid matter and exit from wherever she wishes? xD
But good to know they chose a cave. Easier to make a tomb from it. Unnamed ofc, but still.
What we have seen, is her turn herself into Hadalen essence, and then ‘flatten’ herself against a large stone. At least, that’s what I’ve always thought it was she had done, unless Feretta has said otherwise somewhere.
It makes me wonder how closely she can ‘blend into’ her surroundings, or if there’ll be an obvious dark spot moving around wherever things are adequately lit up. Of course, the bad guys have no reason to believe she’d have this ability (even if they spoke with Sharky Bigtits or her Chucklefuck Brigade, they’d only at most know about her ability to become intangible to weaponry).
Actually, I’m not sure what happens with her clothes. When she hid against the rock, her clothes seemed to transform with her, but when she got stabbed her clothes got torn instead. Instead of a dark spot moving around, will they instead see a pile of clothes moving around on its own, pressed against the ground/walls/ceiling?
Classic use of lives to your advantage. However that’s not the best way to go about it but considering he knows her I understand why. But now have to plan moves more carefully well both of them now. I mean yeah most his men need the infirmary but now here’s a question.
What if he was expecting her.
Hm. At least she’s using her head, and being cautious (to a point). I wonder if Fen’s ability to turn her whole body into Hadalen essence will help gain an advantage?
Something tells me that the slave girl on the chain is somehow rigged up in a way that disturbing her will cause a problem. Maybe electric shocks could go up through the collar, or the collar around the neck is sharp enough that a hard yank can.. Well, make a bit of a scene.
Fen, as pure Hadalen essence, might be able to sneak around behind the girl, sticking to shadows where possible.. And move along the walls and ceilings, get right behind/above/under the main boss, and just.. Grow a big giant Hadalen spike right through him with no warning whatsoever.
Best to aim right for his head and neck; damage the central nervous system so he doesn’t even become aware that anything hit him (can’t activate any last minute explosives or whatnot).
Maybe first wait for them to calm down; spend a few hours with the two of them apparently having left for reinforcements or whatever. Or have Morgan taunt them, perhaps telling their boss’ men that he KNEW coming here would lead to many of their men dying, and that if they were smart they’d turn on him or at least leave.
They won’t, of course, because they think he’ll hunt them down, or worse, hunt down their families.. And they won’t turn on him because he’s so powerful, and they don’t believe they could succeed. But it will prime them to have the idea of leaving his service already for when Fen assassinates him.

Oh ok I see thanks
what about other questions

Am I right by chance.

Details are given starting around here.

Well fuck at least it’s only a story
Irl people be fighting and destroy to and take their life back by force If that was case. but thankfully not same it’s different.

Not really a priority at the moment, but maybe sometime. Baren’s not there though :p
And don’t worry, we’ve got several years to go.
I know from the early beginning it’s assumed to be fen who kills piris don’t know know if he’s in a grave or what but anyways.
Later he explained he was paid by a women a red looking dragon lady. Do we run into her later?
Do You have discord there’s a fan server was created by some friends who are fans to

Have to get the hostages out
I don’t think we’ve seen her be able to do that.

Pretty much that, yeah. It also lets her move around a lot faster, and more stealthily. It’s kinda like a smokey shadowstep ability.
It makes me wonder how closely she can ‘blend into’ her surroundings, or if there’ll be an obvious dark spot moving around wherever things are adequately lit up.
