Why do I felt that, this is about the past still, also that is fenn mother(blue eyes and hadalen from her dad) because this unknown person and fenn. Or a siblings from the same mother but different father o.o
Do their memories get transferred to the P.A.T.H. if the cause of death is the Vitrin core? Or does the Vitrin core cause too much interference, and/or such a thing would be too risky and pose a security threat to the P.A.T.H.?
Well, they’re questions ;P But I do have theories as well…
I suppose it’s possible that there’d be a non-updated version of her still in the P.A.T.H., but I can imagine Hadalen might find it interesting or useful to have information about someone trying to use the Vitrin core, for logging and/or debugging purposes. But gathering that data might allow the creature to inject code into it, and if the P.A.T.H. is vulnerable to code injection (which… Since it basically simulates people’s personalities, which would be like running memories as code in an indirect way, it is definitely vulnerable), then it’d be very dangerous to collect.
Heck, the simplest way it could do this is by doing exactly what it’s already been shown to do before: taking over someone’s mind, like it did to Vitrin himself. Given the precedence for this sort of thing being possible, I imagine Hadalen would set up some filters for the P.A.T.H. to reject connections that are determined to be compromised.
Alternatively… He could set it up to redirect such memories/personalities to a separate, isolated system for study. That’d be VERY risky, and slightly unethical if it turned out the person’s memories could be extracted accurately without the creature’s influence manifesting in harmful ways, but it might give him valuable debugging information.
How some of these sorts of things work in my own fictional multiverse is a bit different, and there would still be a huge risk because there’d be no way to fully isolate a separate system (since the computer running the simulations would be composed of a vast network of self-replicating machines composed of space-time, and the most isolation you can have is by using multiple different subsets that are physically apart, but still indirectly connected to each other). That doesn’t seem to be the case in Tale of Tails, so having a properly airgapped and separate system for studying them seems like a potentially viable solution.
You should do a catalogue of all the creature things you make if you ever have time. Doesn’t need art, just info. In fact, I think it’d be more fun to just fill in the art parts when you use the critters in various other things
Feretta was asking if people wanted to show up as an uncredited cameo eventually™ a long while ago, that’s probably someone’s Boss Monster character as a cameo.
I immediately saw toriel

So Branheild is the mom in this family?
Toriel Dreemur?!
At this time of year, at this time of day, in this dimension of reality, localized entirely within this small town?!
Mom?
I LOVE wide stairs! I’ll never buld a narrow one, I swear!
Is that a young Fenn?
I’m sure, she is someone else. Fenn has blue eyes, black focus accents on her fingers and the tip of her tail.
Good Eye, though I am wondering if this is the red haired lady https://www.feretta.net/comic/a-tale-of-tails-6-03/
She’s pretty distinct and hard to mistake for anyone else.
Is this sometime around the wedding or some years into the future?
Yeah.. Alista’s gone, then…

These are nice theories. :p

What’s the thing pulling the cart? It looks fun and cool
That is an Ashstrider. We’ll get a closer view of it later.

It kinda looks like something out of ATLA to me. Lol
Is… is that Toriel?
Is it though!? Probably not but still looks hella similar.

I said the exact same thing when I saw that!
