Very nice wallpaper 😀 Hang in there, foxy!
Also, one thing has been bothering me for a while – The Vitrin core appears completely inert, but poses a significant threat to the planet. It is indestructible or at least very nearly so. And actually cracking it open would either create a black hole near the planet or worse, let out whatever is inside.
Why not just strap a few engines to it (we could see the civilisation has interstellar capabilities, even if they’re happy with staying on a single planet – and cmon, they’ve just had 200 thousand years to develop, our whole human civilisation is about 20k years old) and send it on a merry voyage into the deep space? Drop it into a sun or even a naturally occurring black hole? Let’s see the “Universe eater” escape from beyond the event horizon 😀
Just…keeping something that can destroy your whole population and their planet in an afternoon close to the center of your society for 200 THOUSAND years and doing nothing about it sounds…ill advised.
Well if they could touch it without being pulled in etc maybe. Alfred put a shell around it. That doesn’t mean people can attach engines to it and fly it around though. You don’t even know if the shell is doing anything to stop the sphere yet.
To be clear they didn’t move anything.. I know this because it would have been in the script. You maybe confusing the planet side ball of death with the orbiting ball of death.
Ah, I didn’t see when Alfred put a shell around the orbital, and kinda assumed you were talking about the shell he built around the ground ball of death.
It might not be a ‘parallel universe’, so to speak. The word ‘dimension’ can mean two things:
1. A parallel Universe, or
2. A spatial axis on which matter can exist and move within.
A ‘hole in reality leading to a different dimension’ is ambiguous because it could either mean that it serves as a bridge between parallel Universes, or that this Universe eater lives in a space-time that is perpendicular to our own space-time, along this ‘different dimension’ (fourth spatial axis; 5th axis if we count time).
(Note: the rest of this post has little to do with Tale of Tails, and basically just explains why I’m excited for this comic.)
Personally, I’m a huge fan of option 2, and this current direction for the story is fascinating and exciting to me because for years I’ve had my own story ideas that involve a Universe-eating entity which exists in such a ‘perpendicular to reality’ way, which also feeds on space-time.
In my story ideas, multiple Universes do exist but only as a position along a ‘probability axis’. This means that there are no distinct and separate Universes, but rather the multiverse is a continuous range of changes. Universes that are close together are only very slightly different; and by ‘slightly’ I mean ‘this atom in this dust particle is a billionth of an inch more north’. Things only start looking different when you travel significantly further away from where you started along probability.
Of course, the Universe-eater in my ideas exists along several dimensions besides just the ‘standard 5’ (XYZ, time, and probability), as does the system built to track its movements. In all, the main premise of the whole thing is that there are infinite dimensions (spatial axes), manipulation of these dimensions is possible, and an exploration of what could be done with technologies that would allow that.
I know we saw her in previous chapters but her likeness to Fen is uncanny doesn’t explain Fens blond fur unless the character in previous page is a hint to who Fens mother is.
If you think of android 18 in DBZ she is just human with with changes to make her more better then regular humans while Ruzha should in a way be the same
Consider who built Ruzha (Baelin), and who she was built in the likeness of (Alfred), and it makes sense that she looks similar to Alfred (who looks very similar to Fen).
Oooh~ but when did she come from? Next ending? The actual next ending relevant to the MCs rn? I’m so obsessed with this comic…
Looks like somebody had a Lovecraft-ian Encounter {Nonlinear Time segment}. Vitrin equivalent to Cthulhu who will eat the Universe when he wakes?
We all know where things would go if tentacle faces were involved
Hey fer are you taking commissions yet?
No, working on it though. At this point it’s more of a mental barrier, but I’ll get there.
Alert me please im currently saving up for ut
Is that android the base model for our lovable fen????
Alas, ’tis not 😉 But she was built to resemble Alfred, so it makes sense she looks like family.
Man… Someone give that android a hug and a some head-pets. Poor thing…
It kind of breaks my heart. I just want to hug and hold em. That is why I hope that she was not sent out as a trap.

To be fair, they did manage to move the sphere off the planet somehow. We know this because it was on the surface when Alfred built the shell around it.
Wild idea but what if they moved what was left of the planet instead
To be clear they didn’t move anything.. I know this because it would have been in the script. You maybe confusing the planet side ball of death with the orbiting ball of death.
Ah yes, I just hate getting my death balls mixed up

I like Ruzha and feel like she’s been through hell. I really really hope she was not sent as a trap :9
Wow! this is getting exciting!
Hey solarsaber, do you have a youtube channel?
Also, storyline idea? A person from the alternate universe finds their way into tale of tails universe, maybe a space vix take of tails crossover?

Has anyone else noticed? She’s a FUTA, TOO!

It is a interesting theory, but it did say that Ruzha is an android, so how she would be pregnant is my question

isn’t Alfred Fenfend ancestor?
He is her father.
Ha, nice easter egg. I guess.
Oh yeah, Fer, you do not know how much I fucking IDOLIZE Mustangs. Big fan of your most recent artwork. Keep it up 😀
