Man, i love the attention to little details in this comic
For example: the Holoow knight artwork on the 4th panel, the picture from the 4 panel of that guy is still there on the 7th and 8th panel
And that’s just on this page
The whole comic is riddled by these

Also, almost everyone in this comic has a name, and i mean EVERYONE
Even the smallest backround characters have a whole story (and even more characters) on them, which is told by other Ferreta’s artwork, so i have to reccomend checking his Furrafinity and e621 page
It isn’t a tattoo though it is a form of paint that goes on the fur almost like body paint. The pattern would be applied each day differently for Jena by other members of the Joice family. Though I think Fer may be wishing he had picked an easier pattern for her visit to the temple on this day. ^_^
The new shading style looks maybe a bit flatter compared to the last few pages, but that also I think makes it look a little more natural, maybe. More like the shading is a tad exaggerated on previous pages, and now it looks more.. ‘Correct’? Maybe?
I’m not good at judging such things, and I’m definitely not an artist, but that’s the main difference I can see between this page and the last few pages. Looks almost as if you added gamma correction, but that could just be my brain trying to use what it knows to explain something it doesn’t know (I’ve studied various math transformations for color space operations a lot, lately).
At any rate, does the five include Fen herself? It looks like she only made 4 clones, unless one is hidden behind Miss’ head.
Mis looks sharper than usual, which is right for her reptilian features. The other characters, compared to this, look almost metallic. All in all, I see improvement.
It honestly doesn’t look too contrast-heavy to me, but again I’m bad at judging these things. To me, even xkcd is well-drawn (as I struggle to make even decent stick figures).
I think maybe Fen looks a little bit less saturated, but I’ve seen other comic pages where that’s true. At any rate, the sharper difference between lit/unlit looks – at least to me – to be more accurate to real lighting. Basically, it’s similar to the difference I see in, say, this picture. The left side shows the lighting without gamma correction, and the right side shows the lighting with gamma correction (more accurate to life).
However, I should mention that I do have a computer monitor I’ve calibrated with a colorimeter to match the sRGB specification. Not for artsy purposes, but due to the color space math stuff I was studying; wanted to be able to test the results. However, most monitors these days have a 2.2 power function instead of following sRGB, which has a short linear section at the start. The result is that darker colors (that aren’t quite black) might show as lighter for me than for most uncalibrated displays, making it appear to me to have less contrast than it would for others.
And again, I’m not an artist. I’m a nerd who has spent way too much time studying this color stuff. Much of this is quite likely to just be my brain trying to see things related to that, when there is nothing related to it present. Kinda like how if you play a specific video game a lot over a long period of time, you start hearing its sound effects in things that should be random noise (like water or an air conditioner running).
That Kitty’s world is about to be rocked but then again her enthusiasm is interesting

Biggest problem with this one is it’s overly contrast heavy, which means the brights are too bright. Easily remedied in the future.
