Soooo I has question,,, I’m looking for college art related courses,and can’t really find anything close to digital drawing like this,was there a class you took in college to learn bout drawing better or something?
Hoo boy, I gotta tell ya.. I’ve never taken a single lesson on art in my entire life, it’s all just putting in the time and effort to learn how to do it myself.
Schools are only really relevant in that they give you a degree, but if your aim is to become an artist, you likely won’t ever actually need a degree. It’s great to have the structure and learning aid of a school to lean on, for sure, and if you get a good teacher, you’ll likely learn a lot more in three years at college than you can in three years on your own, but it’s extremely hit and miss with high school and college art teachers.
If you want to do the school thing, that’s completely fine, just be super careful you don’t come out of it with a $200,000 loan and an art degree nobody cares about. Because you’ll be working the rest of your life to correct that mistake. Don’t aim to be a general artist, go for something useful and valuable, like concept art (though it’s extremely competitive) or illustration focus.
TLDR; You don’t need classes to become an artist, but if you take them anyway, be careful about it and keep in mind that it’s 90% your effort that counts.
Thank you so much! I’m happy to get say from my favorite artist^^,, I’ll be sure to make you the person to ask if I have any questions about art related things
On the pain of talking shite about things I posses no understanding of, in no particular order:
*college will give you technical skills, and would help with honing existing ones; this would allow you to become a professional drawer of things, but not an artist – for that you must have a talent; mind you, being a drawer of things is enough to earn big money, but not enough to sate your budding ambitions and lust for fame;
*to remangle what Feretta said above: if you chose to join a school – don’t; find a teacher you aspire to imitate, and join their class – this way, if the teacher is good, you would become a decent artist, and if the teacher is bad – you will learn a lesson still, and wouldn’t be half as bad as following someone you have no affinity to;
*official diploma is a useful tool to get a job no one else wants, for a good job you would need a decent portfolio of works, and/or a recommendation or two – you know, the stuff called “nepotism” back in the day, and now known as “networking” – school is a way to get proper connections first and foremost, everything other is just a bonus;
*if you chose to learn by yourself, and have a feeling that there is something wrong with your technique or the way your art comes out in the end, but you can not pinpoint what exactly – ask a professional artist/a teacher of your choice for help: personal tutelage is still the way and the method in all regards artistic;
*just work every day – only constant practice can be a foundation of your success.
Thanku!i will definitely take into consideration ,about what the right choices are for college,of what you say,,thanks for throwing me that warning so wouldn’t have to spend extra time on a degree I would actually need 😅
And logical. The PATH system, as outlined from the flashback, maintains backups of all the inhabitants on that world. So if one passes and who, or whatever is maintaining path, becomes like Anubis and judges you worthy of your deeds, can move onward to a higher level of existence. More abilities, knowledge, powers, etc are applied as either rewards or for experimental purposes.
If your life was flawed and had issues, then the COIL process kicks in, assessing and warranting any kind of remediation, reprogramming, or adjustments to that subject’s processes, bodily functions, that sort of jazz. That subjet would then be “recycled”, restored to it’s old life and see if the adjustments have resolved the shortcomings. On some persons though, their actions are irredeemable and maybe “boxed”, put into extended storage until a future decision is made. (It’s speculation on COIL, I extrapolated from her explanation of it and ran with it. Not to mention borrowing some Cylon logic on how they take care of problematic model.)
It’s all quite linear and logical, from a scientific and engineering standpoint. No wonder they have religions cooked up because of them.
did that girl just jump off the world naked?
