By the way Feretta been here since the first chapter I saw it on another site and fell in love with the story and the characters and I am with you till the end…though to be honest I would love the story to never end
Can I put forth another one of my questions on detail, please?
This… sanctuary… is well above the snow-line, and this glade even more so. Are there any doors to save those tortuous stairs from the elements? I doubt anyone at the base of would appreciate the accumulated run-off in the spring if the snow was allowed to stockpile there.
It is my understanding that there are lots of magical relics that have many abilitys plus this is a monastery where one learns to use magic so most likely there is someone or something at work that keeps the place free of snow & foul-weather or it could be like the fabled Shangri-La that’s supposed to be in the Himalayas mountains somewhere but is supposedly veritable Garden of Eden of sorts
Withered. Which isn’t correct, that would be plowed fields. I think Dragonlord is assuming those are dead plants, when they are actually no plants in those fields right now.
Er, question for Feretta; I just looked back at the title page for the chapter, and noticed there aren’t any trees on the mountain summit there, but here are a good grove of odd trees I still don’t know the name of – so, how fast do they grow?
‘Cause I can think of quite a few uses for trees that grow in hours, not years. 😉
As a drafter, I know much about perspective. I know, for example, the plateau is roughly level because it has a pond in the center without cliffs on its edge. I see threes or shrubs rather close to the perimeter too, so that the view of any one of them includes parts from the views of at least two others.
But if you think there is a point where the title page perspective could have been taken that obscures the trees, be welcome to it. I will continue looking at the details.
Don’t worry so much about the details, they aren’t important :p We could also point out that Fen is too big in the last panel, so the plateau looks smaller than it did from the first page. She’s also missing a tail.
Stuff that isn’t important to the story, such as the physical appearance of places and people, get changed as I get better.

Alas, all good stories must have an ending. 😉 Otherwise they’d just become exhausted and dead.

I think you nitpick a little too much on the tiny things that don’t really matter to the story 😉 But you’ll see how that works soon enough.

Well, Fen is right drinking Something after all the salt she had in her way up !
Girl gets thirsty from climbing stairs :p

Perspective Darling

Magic.
Magic.

Explanation accepted. Still, could you imagine the profit margins on lumber milling if tress could grow that fast?
One very important question: do they have alcohol in this universe?
If they did, Fen wouldn’t be drinking some now after climbing all those stairs.
Alcohol dehydrates you, what Fen needs is some hydration.
Drink Estus, the number one choice for the Dank Soulers.
Wait, what’s that sound? Oh god, no, it sounds like.. OH YEAHHHHHHHHH!!!!
They do.
